Red Ribbon Week

We are doing habitat research.

Animal Groups

Each child selected an animal to research. The student wrote an informational paragraph about their animal and completed a picture square with specific facts.

Animal research

We learned about the animal classifications and how each animal is grouped.

Language Homework

We will have language homework each week. I will assign two pages of language and five spelling sentences each week. These are due on Friday or the last day of each week. Please help your child with this assignment each week.

Mrs. Brown's Second Grade Class

We have had an exciting first nine weeks. During this time we have learned about communities, map skills, and animals. In ELA, we have learned about folk tales, and story elements. In math, we focused on place value and multiples of 10 and 100.  Our class has been practicing good work habits and responsibilities as a good student.
